MADE OF STEEL

As a driver, I notice a dangerous trend of pedestrian young and old alike taking unneccessary risk when crossing the road. Every time they see a car driving towards them, instead of waiting for the car to pass by they walk towards the car and let the car pass by them inches away. Another common scenario is crossing the road even there is a car coming towards them and expecting the car to slow down for them. There was once I was driving into a carpark when this group of teenagers walk towards my moving car , they were very close to my driver side but lucky I was slow.As I pass them I felt my rear tyre ran over  something. I stopped and wind down the window and saw one of them limping away. It seems road safety is the last thing on people mind nowadays. To use their body against steel, they will learn the hard way.. they lose even their life.
